Originally from Royal Oak, Michigan, Michael graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting in 2004. At MSU, Michael regularly appeared on the Dean’s List and was a member of the Tower Guard Honor Society.  In 2005, during his first year of law school at Wayne State University, Michael joined Kirk & Huth as a law clerk.  In law school, Michael was named a Dean’s Scholar and a Law School Leadership Fellow. Based on his academic performance, Michael was invited to become a member of the Wayne Law Review. He accepted and held the positions of Assistant Editor and Associate Editor for two years.  In 2007, Michael received his Juris Doctor, graduating cum laude from Wayne State.
