Maryanne Deneweth
graduated from L’Anse Creuse North High School in Macomb
Township, Michigan and received a Bachelor of Science
Degree from Michigan State University. Ms. Deneweth
graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1999,
receiving a Juris Doctorate (with Distinction). While
attending Cooley, she was a member of the Journal of
Practical and Clinical Law and wrote for the Cooley
Environmental Journal. She has acted as a legal
research clerk for the Macomb Circuit Court, working for
the Hon. John B. Bruff, and as a research clerk with the
Michigan Department of Natural Resources. A State Bar
of Michigan member since 2000, Ms. Deneweth is also a
member of the Macomb County Bar Association. She has
served as a Special Assistant Attorney General.
Ms. Deneweth has
successfully drafted briefs and argued before the
Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme
Court. A lifelong resident of the State of Michigan,
she is a member of the Real Property and Appellate
Sections of the State Bar of Michigan, as well as a
member of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan and
the American Agricultural Law Association.
Her primary practice areas
include Business and Commercial matters, Zoning/Land
Use, Eminent Domain and Municipal matters, as well as
legal research, drafting and transactional matters.
