            John D. Brennan


John Brennan graduated in 1977 from Eisenhower High School in Shelby Township.  He attended Michigan State University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in 1981.  He received his Juris Doctor Degree from the Detroit College of Law in 1986 and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.  Mr. Brennan’s experience includes having been an elected member of the Macomb Township Board of Trustees, serving from 1988 through 2008, as both Supervisor and Trustee.  In addition, he worked for the law firm of York, Dolan, and Ciaramitaro from 1992-1995, primarily in the area of municipal law.  He has served as a Director on the Michigan Municipal League’s Workers Compensation Board, and as a Director on the Michigan Township’s Association Board of Directors from 1997-2005.  Mr. Brennan currently attends to the District Court prosecution matters on behalf of both Shelby Township and Harrison Township and handles multiple areas of municipal law, as well as matters of land use and general litigation.
